Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for 50+ portfolio clients
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for efficiency gains
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
