Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead financial reporting for executive stakeholders and external auditors
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Coordinate tax filings and regulatory compliance documentation
- Analyze variance reports and recommend cost-saving strategies
- Mentor junior accounting staff on technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP platforms
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail
