Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and analysis
- Lead audit processes and maintain documentation for regulatory reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
