Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 10+ portfolio clients including month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in month-end close and financial reporting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
