We seek a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage month-end close processes, ensure GAAP compliance, and support strategic financial initiatives. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and SOX requirements
- Lead financial audits and support external examiners
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Maintain accurate financial records in Oracle ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in month-end close and reconciliation processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP)
- Strong GAAP and regulatory compliance knowledge
- Experience with financial audits and reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to start immediately within 1-2 weeks
