Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with executive-level insights
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state tax codes
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization
- Implement accounting software solutions (QuickBooks, Xero)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and tax preparation (Texas focus)
