Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, and month-end close
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Oversee tax preparation and filings for federal/state entities
- Lead process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in public accounting or corporate finance
