Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ corporate clients including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee VAT returns, tax compliance, and regulatory filings
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for portfolio companies
- Implement process improvements using Xero and QuickBooks Online
- Conduct internal audits and financial risk assessments
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in UK SME or corporate sector
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Xero/QuickBooks)
- Experience managing multi-currency transactions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
