Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for departmental spending
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews and compliance checks
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and journal entry preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
