Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Monitor and enforce internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
