As an integral part of our finance department, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee compensation records.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or currently pursuing licensure is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and auditing principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
