Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with tax compliance, including federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts for departmental operations.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and assist with internal audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree in Accounting is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
