Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure all internal controls are functioning effectively.
- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns, including quarterly estimates.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during year-end reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (CPA) preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
