Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage intercompany account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Maintain and improve internal control procedures and financial policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and local tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
