Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, working closely with external auditors.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and fixed asset schedules.
- Support budget preparation and provide financial reporting insights to management.
- Streamline internal financial controls and reporting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
