Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform variance analysis to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Oversee the monthly payroll process and ensure timely employee reimbursements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
