Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily accounting operations and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and timely.
- Prepare complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Perform and review general ledger reconciliations, including bank accounts and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
