Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable workflows and optimize cash flow management
- Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure accurate tax filings and regulatory compliance
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive decision support
- Maintain and improve internal controls for financial data integrity
- Mentor junior accountants and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and IRS regulations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial data
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
