Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts for upcoming fiscal periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
