Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Conduct variance analysis to monitor budget versus actual performance.
- Lead internal audit processes and recommend process improvements for cost reduction.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows to maintain healthy cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
