Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform accurate reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed correctly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is a significant plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with cross-functional teams.
