Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger functions, ensuring accuracy through precise account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Oversee the full accounts payable and receivable lifecycle to ensure timely payments and accurate collections.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
