Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (CA-specific)
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for clients
- Lead audit preparation and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced), and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of CA tax laws and regulatory requirements
- Experience with multi-state and international accounting a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Certification in QuickBooks or ERP systems highly desirable
