Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, schedules, and variance analysis reports in strict accordance with US GAAP.
- Oversee and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and support external auditors during year-end audits.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Strong understanding of federal tax regulations and US GAAP standards.
