Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process optimization
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to executive leadership
- Lead audits and collaborate with external auditors for seamless compliance
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience with audits and regulatory compliance (SOX, GAAP)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive teams
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy and organizational skills
