Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and expense coding.
- Compliance & Audits: Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions.
- Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate cross-functionally with operations and sales teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Unwavering commitment to accuracy and data integrity in a high-volume environment.
