Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper reconciliation of all accounts.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes and reporting comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Team Support: Mentor junior accountants and assist in the month-end close process.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
