In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing complex financial statements, and supporting the company's growth strategy through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial reports are generated accurately and on time.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights on budget vs. actual performance.
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP compliance and internal control processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
