Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and supporting schedules for external audits.
- Conduct variance analysis to monitor budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure financial compliance and data security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of US tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
