Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and payroll processing
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct tax preparation and planning for corporate clients
- Maintain organized financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with complex formula development and pivot tables
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting and variance analysis
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
