Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 client portfolios including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for Louisiana-based entities
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel automation
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance adherence
- Mentor junior accounting staff on industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of Louisiana tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
