Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for senior management.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Assist in the annual external audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal teams.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
