Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare detailed financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP standards and internal control policies.
- Manage complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and assist with forecasting models.
- Collaborate with the Virginia office to streamline intercompany accounting and reporting.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
