Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and supporting schedules.
- Maintain general ledger and fixed asset accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP/Oracle experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
