In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial integrity, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing critical insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
