Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the General Ledger (GL) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial data integrity.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed and collections are managed effectively.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Develop and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to create budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a significant advantage.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
