We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Milwaukee. This is a direct hire opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
