Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with local regulations.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Manage fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
