Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry standards
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic business decisions
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on accounting principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., Sage)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit preparation, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Active CPA license or eligibility to sit for the exam
