Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily general ledger accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• CPA certification or progress toward certification is highly desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
