Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of monthly and annual accounting close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team and management to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Assist with external audits and internal controls testing.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
