Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 50+ corporate clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and SOX compliance testing
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Maintain GAAP compliance and regulatory filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel Advanced functions
- Proven ability to manage month-end closing processes
- Strong knowledge of Virginia tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state corporate taxation
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
