Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and assist with both external and internal audits.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to management.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system with precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing processes, and reconciliation.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic.
