Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for multiple departments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public and private companies
- Expertise in GAAP, month-end close procedures, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (AZ/FL focus is advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
