Your Role
In this pivotal role, you will oversee our core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management and billing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing with local and federal authorities.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or currently pursuing licensure.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
