We are looking for a driven and precise Accountant to join our Sacramento, CA team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring our clients receive top-tier service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and tax returns.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the internal audit process by providing requested documentation and data analysis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and reporting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or currently pursuing CPA licensure is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
