Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Process and oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to the general ledger.
- Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize financial processes and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
