Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations and month-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Implement and maintain daily pay processing systems
- Conduct financial audits and internal control assessments
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of NY financial regulations and tax codes
- Daily payroll processing experience required
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
