As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. We offer competitive compensation and the flexibility of daily pay for our eligible team members.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and all deadlines are met.
- General Ledger: Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in accounting processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate payroll processing and tax filings.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Professionalism: High level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
