Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure full compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense claims efficiently.
- Collaborate with the management team to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax laws and HMRC regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
